The hotel is well placed in the village of Barford and has a couple of good eating places nearby
The hotel is tired and really needs some TLC spending on it to bring it back to its fully glory
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superb with a large variety, from sausage and bacon, or cereal or fruit. The setting are beautiful and you wake up to the birds singing. The pool was lovely and there is a Gym too.
The decor is dated but this was a plus point really as I love the 80's :o)
The staff were friendly and helpful. The conservatory dining room served excellent quality food. The pool and changing rooms were spotlessly clean and provided a refreshing start to Sunday morning. Good location close to Stratford and Warwick.
Location was excellent, with a spacious room. Staff were friendly, and a 'help yourself' style breakfast.
Our first room was missing a toilet seat, but we were quickly given an alternative room. The staff were rushing around uncontrollable on Sunday morning, meaning couples were standing around while tables were laid. Toast was rushed and uncooked, and you had to grab the poor staff as they rushed around even more to ask for butter. There was only one person on the reception, which meant a big queue of people as they all checked out at once. All in all, it looked like a big hotel that simply couldn't cope.
Locatuon was good. Valuae for money was satisfactroy
3Rd floor room small. Lift poor. Breakgfast slow and cold
A very pleasant and quiet hotel and so close to Warwick without being in the town area. Execellent service deliverd in a polite and friendly manner. Have used a number of hotels around and in Warwick over the last few years so thought we would try the Glebe. Will definitely be booking into this hotel again in the near future.
Location was good hotel was generally clean... Breakfast good .... Great pub 5 mins up the road
The spa and pool was closed for the duration of our stay no prior notification given of this ....very disappointing as we have a young family who where looking forward to using the pool. Hotel very quiet no atmosphere had to wait at bar to be served the first night for 10 mins dispute being the only customers!
Very relaxing and quiet, staff on reception were extremely helpful and polite when I checked in apologise because I didnt get her name and would have liked to mention her and waitress at breakfast was very pleasant.
Pleasant surroundings, nice bar and lounge area, not an identikit modern hotel
Some of the decor and fittings such as the windows are in need of replacement
nice quiet location, breakfast was very good would stay there again
the ambience and situation of hotel. Set in a quiet rural village fabulous scenery around. Friendly and obliging staff made the visit memorable.
the room is warm and quite clean, warm swimming pool and breakfast is not bad .
hotel staff is not so friendly ,just ok .didnt feel much wellcomed .
Gym, pool and spa
There was a party on the night we stayed and we were kept awake until 1.00 am. We should have been told of this at the time of the booking not upon arrival.
The swimming pool and gym are excellent and the dinning room and food where very good as where the staff.
The beds in our room where very hard and seemed old, the television had poor reception, a freeview box would have been better and the pillows need renewing.
The staff were very friendly and the location was great, nice and quiet. The spa area was a nice touch.
The general upkeep of the hotel could have been better. They were part way through a refurb so hopefully this will be improved.
